Install Python 2.0 in /usr/local and call it with

        #!/usr/bin/env python2

or something like this.  I just have to agree that upgrading the RPM
in RHL should be tested very thoroughly as Red Hat relies heavily on
Python (Anaconda, *conf, RHN, etc.) and it's more likely that things
will break than having a real benefit with upgrading...
