Don't put yourself down;-)
That said, read the Red Hat Linux documentation, and maybe find a good
beginners' book on Linux. You will learn al sorts of new tricks (I'm sure the
answer to your question would have been in most of them) and avoid the need to
ask many simple questions.
Most people will help those who've made an effort to help themselves; some
(myself included) may seem a little short with those who (repeatedly) ask
simple questions and appear to have tried nothing first.
Nobody here is a walking talking reference book or tutorial.
