Hi,

people maybe remember that in the days of rh5.x, there was a problem with
shutting the machine down properly. That was solved with the inclusion
of the flag '-p' at the command 'halt' in the file /etc/inittab.

Well, the same problem reappeared when I upgraded my system to rh7.0.
The flag is there....

Any ideas?
(I have a dual 350MHz PII system, with an ASUS P2B-DS motherboard.)

Thanks

Nikos

So, if anybody wants to have hardware sent to them; don't
call me, but instead write your own operating system.
It has worked every time for me.
