This mail is send to review my precedent posting about the kernel updates.
I have installed a new kernel, using the egcs included with RedHat Linux 7.0.
The procedure was the same as before, I have overwritten the line:
CC =$(CROSS_COMPILE)cc -D__KERNEL__ -I$(HPATH)
with:
CC =$(CROSS_COMPILE)egcs -D__KERNEL__ -I$(HPATH)
And it works.
I need to understand why the kgcc didn't work. But may be some mistakes due to a
lot of work I'm doing and the late hour (here in Italy are about the 3:00 AM).
Sorry for that error...
But don't give up, there are al lot of bugs we need to fix!
