Ok, I am kmb. I have been running RawHide for 4 years. I started with
mklinux and moved to linuxppc, bought an Athlon just because of no
realplayer and moved to SuSE after trying to update from RedHat-6.1 too
many times(3-4 installs of RawHide distro each time) and finding a $50
pricetag at BestBuy. Now I am on the free Mandrake-7.1 that comes in
Maximum Linux mag. I had gotten lucky and downloaded a cvs copy of libc
that compiled and installed it on SuSE-6.4. With cvs 2.95.3 I was doing
ok. I was doing something and I installed SuSE-7.0 libc-2.1.3-150 and
had to erase my harddrive. Now I give up and I am downlading rawhide.
Is there anyway I can learn to make installable images of rawhide every
week? I have to erase my harddrive every week and it is impossible for
me to compile anything now . I have glibc-2.1.93 Sept. 1 since I
couldn't find cvs instruction webpage and it won't compile because of
nss and 2.95.3 cvs won't compile either. At this point I am trying to
find lex because Mandrake doesn't have it, modutils-2.3.15 is installed
and I haven't tried to build 2.4.0-test7 yet. So my question is can I
learn to do this? I know what Anaconda is but never used it. Is there
a simple tutorial for doing what I need to do? Anaconda seemed overly
complex to me.

Mklinux,Linuxppc,RedHat,SuSE,Mandrake..whats next?
