However this "unpaid labour" gets its rewards, I guess those rewards are
greater when more people admire and use their products.
The criteria for choosing, using and abusing software (and any other products)
have nothing to do with whether the labour's paid or unpaid. If the product
works and suits users, they will use it. If it doesn't, they won't.
People who tell you what's wrong are your friends. Be kind to them.
