Ok, the discussion was interesting, I hope you understand why some people
want an easy way to access specs. I understand why other people don't want
them.
BUT, I have the following ideea:
- at packaging, rpm should include in binary package the spec somwhere in
the HEADER
- that can be queried with "rpm -q --getspec" (or something like this),
similar with "rpm -q --scripts" or "rpm -q --triggers"
pros: query over ftp/http whithout downloading the whole rpm
cons: change in rpm (header) format
