I've looked at the Refernce Guide at http://www.redhat.com/support/manuals/RHL-6.2-Manual/ref-guide/s1-kickstart2-com +mands.html and there are still a few things that I need cleared up. First of all, the explanation of '--hide' makes no sense to me. Does that mean that in the %packages section, groups specified with --hide don't need to begin with '@ '? The immediately following note doesn't reflect that capability, if so. Secondly, there is a number at the start of the file, and groups of packages also have numbers. What are these? Thirdly, does anyone have a tool or script that will check the comps file and find any inconsistencies with the hdlist or ../RPMS? I did this very ad hoc by diff'ing a stripped comps file with ls.
