Try the XFree86-4.0-0.8 SRPM's
Then modify the SRPM to build
A 4.0.1 rpm using the sources from xfree.org.I plan to
do it in a few days, now that a 4.0.1 driver for NVIDIA-3D
is out. You could also try mailing 
Bernhard Rosenkraenzer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> since he built
the first 4.0 RedHat RPMS I saw. He had them at
http://people.redhat.com/bero/experimental/

Right now I see mozilla and KDE stuff there, but he may
be able to make X for us :)
