Redhat includes the RAID patches in their SRPMs.  Hence the need for a new
SRPM/RPM from Redhat for the kernel.  I'd rather have them add in their
patches and QA it than waste my time adding them to the 2.2.16 sources.

I'm not quite sure what you're saying here...  If you can use a stock
kernel, great.  I unfortunately cannot.

I wasn't aware that I had any problems.

Also, when you respond to a message, you might want to consider quoting
what you are responding to.  It makes it a lot less confusing for others to
