Hello, The IBM Serverraid 3L modules ips.o does not seem to work in smp mode. The hardware is a IBM Netfinity 5000 with dual 550MHz PIII's. (8659-51Y) It works fine in with a single processor kernel but with the smp kernels provided with RedHat 6.2 the kernel hangs while trying to identify the scsi devices on bootup. Partial bootlog follows: scsi : 0 hosts. scsi : detected total. md.c: sizeof(mdp_super_t) = 4096 Partition check: RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block 0 autodetecting RAID arrays autorun ... ... autorun DONE. VFS: Mounted root (ext2 filesystem). scsi0 --- Here it hangs. At one time the bootup continued one step further but it claimed to have found a printer with garbled MODEL: info. Any info?
