Just my experience here, but it might be best to go with a more
customized RAID solution from a storage company, rather than a one size
fits all solution from a company like Dell.

I have one of their powervault 200s and it always gives me problems when
I try to use it on a Linux machine. not sure if its the dell poweredge
raid scsi adapter, raid controller, or what, but it rarely works.
