There are a few functionnalities who are badly msising in GnoRPM:
first one is recursive completion of dependencies. Presently if a
library is missing it is up to you to navigate in the UI until you
find it and select it. Gnorpm should list what other files are needed
(if it finds them in the RPM path) and ask the user if he wants them
to be installed with the software selected.
Second: When you install a package it does not refresh the list of non
installed software, it does not even unselects it so if you try to
install more pacakges this will fail because it tries to install the
packages who were installed during the first round.
Third: If you want to redconfigure it the stupid thing tries to
connect to RedHat software so if your box is not connected to the
Internet you will have to wait for minutes until the timeout occurs.
Please fix this one, it is really unbearable.
