True, the changes from binutils 2.9.1.0.23 to 2.9.1.0.24 were not all that
great, but it would be nice if Red Hat would be consistent. This relates
to Red Hat 6.1.

binutils-2.9.1.0.23-6
[stewart@dystopia pub]$ ld -v
GNU ld version 2.9.1 (with BFD 2.9.1.0.24)
Or if only applying part of a patch, put an entry in the changelog stating
the fact.
Maybe I'm being too picky here though? Although I was confused for a
minute when someone e-mailed me the above. I was not certain what they
had installed for a minute.
