Please excuse me for this message -- once upon a time there were discussion here about subject. Can someone tell me a conclusion? E.g. is it ok to require/use ability to build packages as non-root? I found that there are _many_ packages that can't be build this way, some have incorrect file owners (e.g. gawk, cracklib), and some of them (e.g. mktemp, ksymoops from kernel) can be corrected trivially, but others are a bit harder. I can carefully recheck each package to ensure that it can be build as non-root. Is it will be needed? Regards, Michael. -- To unsubscribe: mail -s unsubscribe [EMAIL PROTECTED] < /dev/null
