Yes.  At the install prompt type: "text" to start the text mode
installer.  Make sure you do not choose GNOME or KDE or any X
windows related stuff, or you'll be in for a week long
install.  ;o)

How much memory does your 386 have?  You should have at least
8Mb, or else you'll be in for a very very very slow system.  Make
sure you set up adequate swap space also.  I recommend at least
16Mb - 32Mb.  That is plenty for a 386 system.
