When I look at 6.2 I see several programs like xfm who have no reason
to be included except for historical reasons.

IMHO a program should be included only if it meets one of those
requirements:

1) It is the best

2) It is the best one for small boxes

3) It has a large user base use it so removing it will annoy many people
depending on it.


There was a time where XFM was about the only file manager available
for Linux but today we have several alternatives who are far prettier,
far more powerful and are not overly resource intensive.


In the same way I doubt RedHAt should keep shipping half a dozen mail
user agents.
