I have found a RPM for mailman 1.0 in
ftp://ftp.conectiva.com.br/pub/conectiva/beta/SRPMS/
I have upgraded it to 1.1 and it can be found at
ftp://urano.iceb.ufop.br/pub/mailman/
It seems to work for me.
