So I'm discovering.  It also seems that paritions specified with it
are unable to be used for installation purposes.

The syntax and circimstances for using --onpart isn't clear.  With the
partitions existing and pre-formatted, I've tried using this in the
kickstart file - it doesn't work:

zerombr no
part /boot --onpart /dev/hda1
part / --onpart /dev/hda2
part swap --onpart /dev/hda5
part /tmp --onpart /dev/hda6
part /home --onpart /dev/hda4
part /var --onpart /dev/hdc1

(I can give you the traceback messages if you like).
