Is anyone else having a problem looking up words in ispell when using wildcard? On RedHat 6.0 I get this: [SP] <number> R)epl A)ccept I)nsert L)ookup U)ncap Q)uit e(X)it or ? for help Lookup string ('*' is wildcard): cataly* catalyst catalysts catalytic -- Type space to continue -- While on RedHat 6.1, I'm returned immediately to misspelled-word-pick-an-alternative portion of ispell. Here's what's installed: $ rpm -qa | grep ispell ispell-3.1.20-22 $ rpm -qa | grep words words-2-12 From the ispell man page: FILES /usr/dict/web2 or /usr/dict/words For the Lookup function (depending on the WORDS compilation option). $ ls -l /usr/dict/ total 403 -rw-r--r-- 1 operator wheel 409048 Mar 22 1999 linux.words lrwxrwxrwx 1 operator wheel 11 Jun 28 10:12 words -> linux.words I tried adding a web2 link but that didn't help.
