I have trouble reading the default fonts under netscape myself.  I always
go under the Edit  toolbar and select Preferences.  A configuration tool
will start.  Go under Appearance and select Fonts.  At this point you can
choice a font and font size for fixed and variable width text and you can
also override the documents so that all the web pages will always use
your selections.
