thank you for the reply. I looked at the web site and could not see any
Linksys drivers. The codes on the processor of NIC card say:
Linksys
LNE100TX
LC82C115
T4443701
37BDX
Do you have any ideas?

Unfortunately, that doesn't many anything. You might get some idea of you
eyeball the card and read the codes on any big chips.

You could explore the vicinity of http://cesdis.gsfc.nasa.gov/linux/drivers
/ - lots of (most) NIC drives come from there.
