not sure - but I'd certainly appreciate any details about the stage 2
installer (RedHat/instimage (or is that RedHat/base/instimage?)) that
should match the new boot disk images (and accompanying source code,
misc/src/trees&install&installinit) that are available from updates
(since 09 Sept).

These disk images use a kernel more recent that 2.2.5-22. I've been
trying - unsuccessfuly - to use 2.2.5-22 for a new set of boot
disks/stage2. It seems that the modules.cgz file I create is larger than
it is on the ones from Red Hat, and so several of the mk..... scripts
fail due to insufficient space.

Is it possible to build boot disks/stage2 based on 2.2.5-22? I
eventually achieved something by removing all the non-ATAPI CD-ROM
drivers from the modules.cgz file (but this is not an ideal solution).

How do you build a correct 'instimage' ? I removed it, and was hoping
that the upd/mk scripts would re-create it, but they didn't - the boot
disk loaded, but couldn't start the second stage.

Notes on "how to create boot disks and instimage completely from
scratch" would be VERY helpful! i.e. which scripts to run, in which
order...
