OK, I'll take a look at Lorax. /misc/src/install gone? What about
genhdlist, dmphdlist, mapshdr, snarffont, etc? (Presumably these have
moved into the anaconda directory...)

Is there a published list of the differences between Lorax and
6.0/updates?
(If not, I could whip one together...)

True; I just get a comforting feeling, knowing that everything has been
built from the One Good Tree, not containing a version here, a version
there...

... and I suspect that some kind person at RedHat has to modify the spec
file for each new kernel from Linus (Thanks!)...

I'd probably copy them to /linmaster/mydist/RedHat/RPMS, and run
update-cat (from the RedHat CD Kit, found on FreshMeat)

I notice that I said to run updboots twice in my mail yesterday - forget
step 4, running it again after updsupp/updrescue, this was a typo.

It is; my mistake; the machine I'm building this on hasn't been updated
much, yet ;-)

OK, will do.

Thanks for the response - I guess I'll have to get started on Lorax, or
all this /misc/src/install stuff will be Old Hat.

Cheers,
Matt
