Is see this as well (tried to log a Bugzilla, but it don't show up).
Netscape-4.61-4 does not give this error.
I have not tried 4.61-6 with XFree 3.3.3.1 yet - will tonight.

from the rawhide-990901 release shows an udefined symbol:
prompt>netscape
/usr/lib/netscape/netscape-communicator: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6: undefined symbol: __rawmemchr
Similar errors appeared with XFree86-3.3.4-2:
prompt>netscape
/usr/lib/netscape/netscape-navigator: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6: undefined symbol: __bzero
Is this due to netscape or XFree86?
