OK, I guess I missed some new documentation or something.

Lorax (and current rawhide) have the new graphical install system. Since I had
some problems with the lorax installation, I thought I would try the updates in
the latest round of rawhide to see if anything was fixed. To do this, I needed
to create a hard-disk version of the cdrom.

>From past experience, I know how to do this for the "old" redhat install --
you put all the files in their proper directory tree and then (before you
create the cd image or try to use it to install from harddisk, you run the
"genhdlist" program from the misc/src/install directory.

Oops ... "genhdlist" is missing ... but there is a hdlist file in RedHat/base.

What am I missing?? Is it still necessary to recreate hdlist? If so, where is
genhdlist or do I use the old one? Or what?

Any clues?

It will be a bit hard to test updates if I cannot create a whole new install
tree myself ... besides, I like to "tune" the contents of the "comps" file to
fit my needs/desires. [BTW, I like the "new" stuff which allows some
indirection in the comps file.]
