My system sometimes hangs during reboot/halt while shutting down the network interfaces. Yet I can do /etc/rc.d/init.d/network stop without any problem. Looking at /etc/rc.d/rc0.d, I see that the killall link precedes the one for network; this doesn't look right to me. Would it help to reverse the order?
