Cheesy Taco Chili

1-1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. processed cheese (Velveeta) cubed
1 16-oz. jar salsa
1 16-oz. can red beans, drained and rinsed
1 14.5-oz. can stewed tomatoes, undrained
1 10-oz. can diced tomatoes with green chiles, undrained
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 c. sour cream

In large saucepan or Dutch oven, cook beef and onion over medium heat
until meat is no longer pink.  Drain.  Stir in cheese, salsa, beans,
tomatoes and chili powder.  Cook 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.

Yield 10 servings.
