Dark Chocolate Bars
Dark Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Ingredients

7 oz. semi-sweet chocolate

2-1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate

3 tbsp. unsalted butter or margarine

1 cup sugar

3 eggs

1-1/2 tsp. strong brewed coffee

3/4 tsp. vanilla

3/4 cup each flour, chopped pecans

1/2 tsp. baking powder

1/4 tsp. salt

4 oz. chocolate, chopped

Directions

Melt 7 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, unsweetened chocolate, and butter in

top of a double boiler. Set aside.

In a mixing bowl, beat sugar and eggs together until lemon colored. Mix

in coffee and vanilla. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt.

Mix well. Stir in 4 oz. chopped semi-sweet chocolate and pecans.

Bake at 350° F. about 12 minutes until tops are shiny and cracked and

cookies are soft to touch. Cool several minutes and remove to wire racks.
