Hi,

I've never eaten soy.  However, I have a friend who is a vegetarian
and I would like to cook dinner--say chili or stuffed pepper soup.  I
wonder if anyone knows if I could use the textured soy crumbles (I
think that's the name) in these dishes and brown it with peppers and
onions just as I would ground beef, then add the other ingredients and
cook ...

Has anyone ever made soup with this and how did it taste?  Work out?

Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
