Lora, Ivy had too many problems both physical and emotional that just
couldn't be worked with. She had something wrong where she couldn't
put pressure on her front right foot and her back sometimes swelled
up making it look like a camel hump. She would shift in harness and
whimper or really yipe. She equated work and pain and me and
resented me. Towards the end she would walk the other way when
called or go into another room refusing to go outside. She was a sad
dog and never was really happy. I could probably go on and on but
don't want to take up list space and time. Let's just say she was
overly stressful. The word "no" meant absolutely nothing to her and
she was also too strong for me.
Well, that's over and a new chapter has been opened. Lady is just
awesomeand today was no exception. We had traffic checks and worked
at a local mall. She did absolutely terrific.
I have a sore throat and chest congestion so going to get a mug of
ice and water, take the little leading Lady out and go to bed
early. Tomorrow is puppy raiser day and hers are coming. Sunday I
may be going out with Ivy's raiser which should be fun.
