REFRIGERATOR FRUIT CAKE 1 1/2 cups seedless raisins 1 cup prunes 1 cup pitted dates, cut up 1 1/2 cups mixed candied fruits and peels, cut finely 1 stick butter or margarine 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup marmalade 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup walnut meats, chopped 5 cups finely crushed graham cracker crumbs Wash and drain the raisins. Pour boiling water over the prunes and let them stand for 5 minutes. Then drain, cool, slice and pit them. Combine all the fruits and peels. Cream the butter with the sugar; blend in the syrup, the marmalade, spices, and the salt. Mix this in with the fruit; let it stand for 2 hours. Then blend in the walnuts and the crumbs. Pack the mixture into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan, which has been lined with wax paper. Chill the cake in the refrigerator for 48 hours or longer. Enjoy.
