Hi Folks,

I'm just sitting here catching up on some email messages.  I am
thinking about my menu for the holiday weekend.

Since I go to church on Sunday, and that takes up much of my day, I
usually cook on Saturday--if I can.

So, I think I am going to have macaroni salad, some meat--hot dogs,
kielbasa or chicken and for dessert either classic no-bake cookies or
brownies (from my favorite recipe) but instead of using semisweet
chocolate chips in the batter, I will use mint chips.

So that's it.  I'll probably start the eggs etc. for the salad early
in the day and while they are cooking--along with the pasta--chop up
my vegetables.

I made the blueberry iced tea today--my first pitcher of iced tea this year.

Oh well, sorry for the rambling.

Whatever you do, make the day a little special.
