Beef with Wine and Mushroom Sauce 3 1/2 pounds chuck steak 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1 (10.75-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1 cup red wine Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Sprinkle steak on both sides with salt and pepper. Place in a baking dish and pour soup and red wine on top. Cover and bake for 3 hours. Place steaks on plates and spoon extra sauce on top to serve. Makes 12 servings.
