Banana Pudding Cake

2 small ripe bananas, mashed
1 18.25-oz. pkg. yellow cake mix
1 box instant vanilla pudding (4 serving size)
4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. water
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts, if desired
Whipped topping, optional

Preheat oven to dg350.

Mash bananas in mixing bowl.  Add cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water
and oil.  Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.  Fold in nuts.

Pour mixture into greased and floured 9- by 13-inch baking pan.  Bake
for 50 to 55 minutes.  When cool, top with whipped topping if desired.
