Cut steak into narrow strips, 2 inches long. Roll meat in flour. Then brown in hot melted butter. Transfer meat to casserole. Brown mushrooms in remaining butter, adding more butter if necessary. Transfer mushrooms to casserole. Combine soup, sherry, and bouillion and pour over contents of casserole. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Bake in moderate oven (350 F.) until meat is tender, about 40 minutes. Serve over hot cooked noodles, topping each portion with sour cream. Serves 4 to 5.
