Oh, Steve,
How true this is, and is like that for me re my precious little Sweet Sugar!
when she first passed away over that rainbow bridge, there was a terrible
loneliness when I came home each night; prior to losing her, she always was at
the window, sitting on the sofa, looking out, and there was that emptiness;
now, her other three furries do the same thing, but there is always her special
spot engrained in my heart, dish, bed, and all of her, but these three crazy
precious little ones are special, so so so active, too! this is wonderful,
thanks so so much!
Sandy

Subject: [RecipesAndMore] DOGS WHO'VE SHARED OUR LIVES

  DOGS WHO'VE SHARED OUR LIVES

  "They will not go quietly,
the dogs who've shared our lives.
In subtle ways they let us know
Old habits still make us think
we hear a barking at the door.
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometimes, coming home at night,
  we miss them terribly.
And although time may bring new friends
and a new food dish to fill,
That one place in our hearts belongs to them...
  and always will."

A single candle can illuminate an entire room. A true friend lights up
an entire lifetime. Thanks for the bright lights of your friendship.
