Almond Strawberry Angel Cake Ingredients: 2 pints strawberries, rinsed and hulled 1 cup granulated sugar 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3 tablespoons amaretto Angel food cakes, slices (homemade or store-bought) Fat-free whipped dessert topping Chocolate-dipped strawberries for garnish
Directions: In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine strawberries & sugar. Let simmer slowly for 10 minutes. Stir in cinnamon & amaretto. Remove from heat & serve with slices of angel food cake.
