GIANT PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES 1/2 c. butter, softened 1 c. sugar 1 c. plus 2 tbsp. brown sugar 3 eggs 2 c. peanut butter 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract 3/4 tsp. light corn syrup 4 1/2 c. reg. oats, uncooked 2 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. candy coated peanut butter pieces 1 c. chopped walnuts
Cream butter, gradually add sugar, beat well. Add eggs, peanut butter, vanilla and corn syrup. Beat well. Add oats, soda and salt. Stir well. Then stir in remaining ingredients. Batter will be stiff. For each cookie pack dough into a 1/4 measure, spoon dough onto a light greased cookie sheet. Press into a 3 inch circle, space 4 inches apart. Bake 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool slightly on cookie sheet. Remove to rack.
