Sounds like a Fuel tax is impacting everything. It was around 15 cents a pound a couple years ago.
This is something that will be affecting for all of us as we move to Lithium batteries. With traditional LA we could recover some costs when disposing of them. I just got $1300.00 for 4 Big HUP solar one batteries a couple months ago as scrap. But with lithium based you will have to pay. I do not see this changing any time soon.
