Cat5/6 Ethernet cable? Yes a standard one will work! No crossover cables
Is there a spec for it? There are and one of the big ones to break is
using short cables in big systems. 2 meters is best.
There is an overall length limit of 130 feet and a few more. Use the
routing slots and stay away from ac and
dc wiring or cross at 90 degrees. Good Luck!

Hi all,
Is the Schneider "Xanbus" cable a special cable, or just an Cat5/6
Ethernet cable?

I'm trying to add an "Insight Home" to a XW Pro 6848 & the "Insight
Home" does not come with the "Xanbus" cable needed to incorporate it in
to the network.
One of my distributors said it's a plain ole RS485 cable.
Thanks ahead of time!
