At a service call yesterday the customer reported that his 2 FM100's stop
charging with float lights lit when the batteries are very low (46V). When
he unplugs the MATE3s charging goes back to normal. SInce the mate is off
and he doesn't have an external TriMetric or other current reading device,
he called me to check if the solar was in fact putting out current. My
clamp meter confirmed that the FM 100's were both working fine until we
plugged the MATE back in. I tried a new MATE with the same result. He has
a HUB 10 but I didn't have one with me to try. Any Idea what the problem
might be?. I checked all charging parameters. Any suggestions?
