If I'm reading the Kohler RDT manual right, it won't matter if both primary
and emergency 240 v power are present on their seperate inputs
simultaneously, and the contactor will only switch to emergency when
primary power is lost. In effect the control logic assumes it started an
emergency generator OK as soon as its start gen dry contact closes, seeing
the "aways on" emergency source. I hope it's this way.

In this case primary power is an existing battery/inverter output, and
emergency will be a new & separate H2 / battery / inverter output. A
"backup to the backup" for beta test of the H2, at least for now.
