That is an unfortunate side effect from living in California. With a little bit
of disassembly all be it not much, in most states the scrap yards will pay for
E-waste.

Subject: [RE-wrenches] SolarEdge refusing their bad inverters

Today I learned that Solaredge will not accept responsibility for the E-Waste
they generate.
They refuse to reimburse installers who are stuck with it. In my experience
SolarEdge has a very high failure rate.
My local e-waste facility doesn't accept solar inverters.
