HI All, I thought I’d share some details from OB that I got the other day.
Maybe some or most of you know this but I didn’t. 1. there are 3 blue pots at the bottom of the controller. The lowest one is voltage adjustment. Set the calibration to 0, then adjust with that pot. It leaves the factory unadjusted if it’s within 1v, which I presume is at 48v. 2. If you have a VMP which is close to battery voltage. It turns out VMP has to be 12v above battery volt for the MPPT to work. And that voltage isn’t what you measure at the terminals but inside, so it could be more or less. 3. To help with #2 you can adjust the snooze mode amps down from .6 to .2 which by chance they found out it helps. And no they don’t actually know why. _______________________________________________ List sponsored by Redwood Alliance Pay optional member dues here: http://re-wrenches.org List Address: RE-wrenches@lists.re-wrenches.org Change listserver email address & settings: http://lists.re-wrenches.org/options.cgi/re-wrenches-re-wrenches.org There are two list archives for searching.
