I've put in about Ten EG4 LL banks in the last 2 years, no problems with
any of them, tech support is very good, they have a dedicated number for
installers and someone always picks up, I like the digital screen with
access to battery cell voltages, cell temps, amps, battery voltage and
%. Their racks with integral bus bars running vertically on either side
make installation really quick and easy, battery cables come with every
battery for use in their racks. On a few installs I've put them in
existing insulated battery box's with EG4's permission with the screen
facing up and I add my own bus bars to the inside of the box. They also
have fire suppression pads inside them that are designed to melt down
over the top of the internal components in the event of a serious
thermal problem.
Their dealer price point isn't good as compared to what they sell them
for on their website, all my customers ask for these batteries and know
what they cost on the website. The last time I complained to them about
their dealer price point, they discounted them more and gave me free
shipping.

I like the Homegrid and the Sol-Ark communication seems perfect.
However, the conduit entry for a code compliant installation is not
logical at all, very awkward if you want it in conduit. Not sure what
the intent was for a US installation to be inspected. Also, its a bit
unclear how to ground it properly, no mention in the installation
manual that I've seen. In addition, the Wifi app for Android isn't
available on the Play Store and they sent me a link to a place to
download an app that didn't work at all probably due to security issues.
Very nice stacking and quite attractive.
I also like the 15 lithium cell, lower voltage parameters. This can
work fine with older inverters that can't cut out higher than 48V.
Cool battery but they struck out on some of the simple things.
