Hello Wrenches,

We are researching UL3741 and NEC2020s Photovoltaic Hazard Control
System. Whether it is safe or not is a discussion for another time.

After digging around a bunch it does not seem to be really geared toward us
residential (grid-tied and off-grid) and small commercial installers. But I
wanted to connect with folks who know the landscape better than us before
we disregard it for the foreseeable future.

UL3741 listed racking systems and solar panels are not the limiting factor,
as there are enough manufacturers listed that we use regularly and can get
easily. It appears that Midnite's MNSSR-600S-SS may be a good path for us
as it has been tested with the Sol-Ark15k but from what I can tell not to
UL3741 standards.

It seems the short list of compliant inverters with a compliant racking
system using Midnite's MNSSR-600S-SS is what would hold us back. As we
don't actively use any of the listed inverters.

Has anyone heard from inverter manufacturers that are actively working with
a racking company on getting UL3741 or if they EVEN want to pursue it
(besides Tesla, Solis, SMA, GrowWatt)?Specifically battery based hybrid
inverters or charge controllers. I can't seem to find any.

Thank you for your input.

Aloha,

Lou Russo
