As I remember, the OB BTS's are 10K Ohms (@25C) thermistors. NTCs.   Same as MidNite's BTS.

You might try plugging in a MidNite BTS and see if the temperatures shown on the OB
come out right.

 I don't have an MX60 handy to try otherwise I would have checked this.
If it doesn't work, then it is a simple wiring of that phone jack or the phone cable.
