I did a Sunrotor pump last year and it works well. They were also very helpful on the phone.

He's happy to have the pond filled just when there is enough sun to pump, so no batteries are desired. I have little to no experience with water solar direct pumping, so I'm a little leary of spec'ing anything. The pump will sit 5 feet deep, the distance from spring to pond is about 120' and the head is about 30-40' . He found a pump on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Submersible-Stainless-Built-Circulating-Brushless/dp/B083NHH18K/ Again I know virtually nothing about this topic so I'm not clear whether this pump is appropriate or not. Any advice is appreciated. Howie
