Hello. I'm wondering if there is a code reference for the allowable clearance above a plumbing vent. I've run into several jurisdictions that ask for the clearance to be at least 2x the diameter of the vent pipe. I'm wondering if there are any code references to back this up or any code that specifically prohibits obstructions (like solar panels) above plumbing vents.
